Where is the Community in Conversations of Student Success: A Mays Forum

Presented by Joyce King, the Benjamin E. Mays Endowed Chair for Urban Teaching, Learning and Leadership, and the Alonzo A. Crim Center for Urban Educational Excellence.

This event will begin with a critical conversation with the authors of the book, “None of the Above: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Public Schools Cheating Scandal, Corporate Greed and the Criminalization of Educators,” highlighting the history leading up to the Atlanta cheating scandal and the resulting impact on Georgia schools. Then, the panelists will discuss the many ways community experiences are tied to student success at all levels.
